Meet Clarisa, a born and raised Arlington, TX native who has dedicated her life to the well-being of animals. With a Bachelor's Degree in Animal Science from Texas Tech University, a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Texas A&M University, and a Master's Degree in Clinical Sciences from Colorado State University, Clarisa has a wealth of knowledge and experience in the field of veterinary medicine. She is also a board-certified specialist with two specialty residencies under her belt and has contributed to over 10 scientific studies in the field.
Currently, Clarisa serves as a Staff Veterinarian & Surgeon, where she utilizes her skills and expertise to provide top-notch care and treatment to animals in need. For Clarisa, helping animals is more than just a career - it's a calling. She is driven by her passion to be an advocate and problem-solver for animals and finds immense satisfaction in knowing that her work helps to improve their quality of life.
Her hobbies are vast, from gardening to farming, beekeeping to raising livestock, all aimed at promoting sustainable agriculture and providing quality produce for those in need. At home, Clarisa is a proud pet parent to three French Bulldogs (Basil, Poppie, and Chicory), a Gloucestershire Old Spot pig (Gertrude), 40-head flock of Dorper Sheep, two dairy cows (Karen and Elsie), barn cat (Mamma Cat), a few Rex rabbits and many chickens.
